The resort is located nearby the provincial capital Songkhal and the third biggest city of Thailand Hat Yai. An area attraction is the freshwater lake Thalesap Songkhla which is located only 3 km away from the resort. With a length of 80 km, the lake is part of Khu Khu, one of the biggest bird sanctuaries of Asia, where more than 200 species of birds live.

Recommendable is also a trip to the beautiful monastery WAT PA KOH, where the famous monk Luang Por Thuat lived and taught. Another interesting attraction is the viewpoint Tang Kuan with its big statue of Por Thuat, located above the commercial harbour of Songkhla.
